Clean Up

Surf Rider and Hum Baykeeper put together a samoa beach clean up on sunday and we cleaned like you would never believe. Yeah, did you surf today and wonder why your favorite spot was void of trash? Next time join us and earn your waves, it feels so good to help the environment. I found these skis too, soon to be skate decks.

Test Pilot

Took the hand planes out on Sunday with Gretchen and we had a blast. The weather was good, but the waves for body surfing were alright. I need to get a pair of fins so I can get outside for some sets. I got a few though and I could feel the potential. Super fun,  it was like a whole new experience. I ended up using old booty straps to keep them on...upcycle! They didn't work so well as sandals though...

Super Surfer!

For a good time I was riding an old yellow Super Surfer skateboard from the 70's. It was the greatest ride I came to know. One fateful day however the board slipped from my grasps down a storm drain never to be seen again. Years later I found a blue one in a junk shop with original clay wheels. I road that for a while, but it ended up breaking due to it's ancient plastic. I saved it though and made a template stretching it out a bit and took my stack of old skate decks and went to town!

 These boards are workhorses and fit in your backpack too. 

I ride mine everywhere from near and far with ease.

Bonzer 3

Hand foil baltic birch bonzer side runners I made a while back. I love bonzers and can't wait to make more, there's something pretty awesome about this unique fin setup. I still haven't found a faster board! The bonzer was invented by Malcolm and Duncan Campbell in 1970 and was the first 3 fin concept, predating Simon Anderson's thruster design buy a decade, that's innovation!

These are based off the George Greenough spoon kneeboards, but these are for your hand to body surf. Made from recycled surfboard and guaranteed stoke these puppies are gonna be fun.
