Thin One Fin Pin

I went to help a friend load a fair amount of old growth redwood and there happened to be a beat up surfboard that made it into the stack. I couldn't wait to peal back the layers of time to glean out a new surfcraft. This time I had more to work with and ended up with a rolled entry into panel vee 6'0'' - 17.25 - 2.5 thin one fin pin for going straight, fast and barreled.

Shack'd

My shack out back is all ready and it didn't take long for me to make a mess. I love this little shack of mine! Nice natural light through the roof during the day and side lights for fine shaping at night. I'll rig up a system soon where I can easily cover the roof with panda paper when darkness is needed.

Tubercles

7" whale tubercle fin, recycled from an old beat up 10''. 

Trading out the old fin for turning square on the attack 

with no stall and less drag....nature's science!

Balsa

100%

Here is the final shaped product, 100% recycled foam and soon to be glassed. 4'1'' tall, 19.5" wide and 2.25 thick with a single concave to vee through the asymmetrical tail. I'll make a single fin with maybe one side bite. It might float me, but most likely a kid will surf it.

Salvaged

This is a chunk of foam I removed from an old 80's board that had seen better days. I salvaged it and sculpted something really nice out of it. It turned out kinda small because I didn't have much to work with, but some little grom is gonna be stoked.

Repaint

I've been down at my favorite book store Booklegger freshening up there old mural. It was painted around 1990 and needed some love. Painting murals now shaping next week.
